Capitalization means writing the first letter of a word in capital letter.
Capital letters are used:
To capitalize the first word in a sentence.
For example:
- She sings well.
To capitalize proper nouns like names of people, days of the week, months of the year, streets, cities, and holidays.
For example:
- Mary is going to California.
To capitalize the letter I in a sentence.

- May I come in?
