Story Writing
Components of a story:
- Characters: Any animate figure within the story is considered to be a character
- Setting: Background information such as when and where the events of the story take place and the situation that leads to the occurrence of the main events of the story
- Conflict: Turning point in the story when a problem arises for the characters
- Climax: When the story reaches its most exciting point. There is intense action and strong emotions in play at this point
- Resolution: The characters face the conflict, and it is resolved. This is where the story is concluded
- Plot: How the story progresses, all the events that occur in the story
