Addends
Addends are any of the numbers that are added together. For example: In the addition equation 8 + 3 = 11, the 8 and the 3 are addends.
Addition:

3 + 4 = 7
Solution:
3 and 4 are addends.
7 is the sum.


Example 2:
Find the addends and sum for the equation given below.
9 + 5 = 14
Solution:
9 and 5 are addends.
14 is the sum.
